I am never content with the ordinary. As a fabricator, I am fascinated with design and how good ideas can dramatically alter our experiences and reward us visually. Art has a hold on me. I have to do things well, I don’t know any other way. My cats demand this of me.
A Texan by birth, I grew up in Portland, lived abroad in Sweden and Italy, and have spent a lot of years in Los Angeles. I have spent time volunteering in Sri Lanka, climbed to the top of an active volcano, and even found myself randomly working on a horse ranch one summer. I like seeking places out to find the unexpected, to take myself out of my comforts and to view the world from a different perspective.
