Model for a Steven Soderbergh Film

Painted MDF, 3D prints, plex

-I was commissioned to build a miniature to be used in the film’s opening dream sequence. Given only image references of a Swiss bank, I worked directly with Steven and the Creative Director to achieve his vision. As the bank model developed we added small details like an ATM machine, a checkered floor, a clock, bank tables and 3D printed objects. The main bank room featured a central light atrium to achieve the perfect lighting condition.

-I created a 3D computer model that could be easily altered depending on comments and re-designs. The entire model had to be removable so the cameras could access the spaces and capture the correct angle. The walls, columns, and roof were notched into a key system holding everything in place securely. The model was 4 x 8’ in dimension

A Day In The Life

A stop motion film

-a firm wide challenge to make a 2 minute video depicting a day in the life of a normal workweek, I chose to take a more humorous approach that focused more on architectural models with a 3D printed King Kong as my star. Taken entirely on my iPhone.
